2. What's the usual delivery time for your heating oil?
Our standard delivery time is typically between 4-5 working days. However, we're usually able to accommodate emergency deliveries within 24-48 hours. Please be aware that in winter months these times may vary.
3. Do you offer same-day heating oil delivery?
No, we are unable to guarantee same day delivery. In exceptional circumstances, if you have run out and happen to be in area where we are already delivering that day, we might be able to help.
4. What is the smallest quantity of heating oil I can order at once?
You can order a minimum of 500L of heating oil, this quantity is set out by the government. If 500L will not fit in your tank, we will unfortunately not be able to complete your order and you may be subject to additional charges.
5. Are your prices competitive compared to other suppliers?
Yes, as an independent supplier, we are able to offer competitive pricing for our heating oil delivery service. We strive to provide our customers with the best value for their money. Our prices change daily according to the market, so its always worth giving us a call. Price quoted at the time of ordering is the price you pay.
6. Will I be notified when delivery happens?
Yes, if we have a contact telephone number for you, we will always text or call you the day before delivery.
7. Do I need to be in when delivery happens?
No, as long as we can access your tank then you do not need to be present for deliveries. We will always text or call you 24 hours before delivery so you can ensure any gates/ padlocks are open. The driver will leave a delivery slip in your door.
8. Do you have small tankers and how long are your hoses?
All our tankers are classed as 4 wheelers. There are very few properties that we have been unable to deliver to due to tanker size. We will always let you know if a driver has been unable to deliver. Our hoses are approximately 180ft long.
9. Do you offer Premium Kerosene?
Yes we sell an additive called Exocet which we recommend for Aga users. This improves the quality of the kerosene and ensures it burns cleaner.
10. How do we know the heating oil delivery is safe?

11. Why does my watchman not register my oil as delivered?
Watchman's can take up to 24 hours to update after your oil has been delivered.

12. What do I do if I have a leak in a plastic tank?
If it is a plastic tank you can use a traditional bar of soap, which you can rub into the hole or split, temporarily stemming the flow. Try and catch as much fuel leaking out as possible. We recommend Redlands Property Services for tank changeovers.

13. How do I know if my metal oil tank is starting to leak?
If on a dry day there is a damp patch on the tank then chances are the tank is just starting to leak and requires replacing.
